A judge has tossed out R. Kelly's latest request to once again delay the start of his trial as jury selection will begin on Monday (May 12) TMZ.com reports.
Child pornography charges were originally filed against R. Kelly June 5, 2002 after authorities alleged between Jan. 1, 1998, and Nov. 1 2000 he made a sex tape with a girl who is said to have been 13 at the time.
The girl, now 23, denies it was her in the video.
A ruling will come down May 16 as to whether or not court records and hearing transcripts will be unsealed for media and public consumption.
