Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly making plans to tie the knot soon and official papers have been filed to prove it.
Gossip sites have rumored the super couple have been engaged, married and soon-to-be married for the latter part of their five-year relationship, but this time there's proof.
The two actually took out a marriage license yesterday morning (Apr. 1) in Scarsdale, N.Y., according to People magazine. The document is good for 60 days.
A rep for Beyoncé had "No comment" and Jay-Z's spokesperson couldn't be reached.
The couple has two months to wed before the marriage license expires.
(L note: Can I be The 1st to say this is probably an April fool's joke. Why would they file on April 1st? Just remembr where you heard it 1st)

According to T.I.'s lawyer, Steve Sadow, the rapper is not technically under house arrest.
"He is in what we call a home detention program which means that he has a curfew," Sadow clarified.
Sadow explained that when he's not working, T.I.'s curfew is from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m and when he is working it's 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.
"Between the hours that the curfew doesn't apply, he is free to go and do anything, basically," Sadow revealed. "But he has a full time monitor with him and he has to get permission to go out of town and permission is given for work or community service."
The self proclaimed "King of the South" has already spent about five months on house arrest since the end of October, when he was released from jail on $3 million bond. Sadow said that those 5 months will count towards the year of house arrest Tip was ordered to serve.
The time he's doing right now under curfew will also partially count. According to Sadow the nights that T.I. actually sleeps at his house will be added to the tally. Yet if the rapper gets permission to travel out of town for a week for community service, the clock stops for those seven days.
Sadow hopes the rapper will finish a majority of his time by March before he heads to jail.
If he's able to log a whole year of house arrest before he goes into jail for the year he was sentenced to, he will walk out of the slammer a free man. He'll only be under supervised release, which is a form of probation, for three years thereafter.
Of the 1,500 hours of community service Tip has to log, 1,000 has to be done within the first month. He was also hit with a $100,000 fine which has to be paid at or before his official sentencing in March of 2009.
Fans and critics alike have reacted to the ruling, saying Tip got a sweet deal. To this, Sadow says his client will adequately pay for his crime.
"First, he is going to jail for a substantial period of time," he said. "Second, it is the best way for him to give back to the community and that was very important in negotiations."
(L note: I've been reading the boards on the other sites, and i even recall saying Tip might be "Donnie Brasco" when I was on Va's 103 jamz back in November, But honestly, Do I really think Tip Ratting??? I doubt it)

As a condition of his plea agreement with prosecutors on three federal weapons charges, T.I. will be required to complete a staggering 1500 hours of community service. In order to fulfill his part of the bargain, under which he will serve only one year in prison, the rapper has agreed to travel the country and speak with youth groups about the perils of gangs, guns and drugs.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, within 24 hours of the announcement of Tip’s plea, requests from various groups had already started to pour in. The Rev. Daniel L. Edwards III, president of Georgia’s Henry County chapter of the NAACP is one of many community leaders who says he will ask the rapper to come and speak with his young people.
“We want to come up with a way to use his celebrity status and use him as a spokesman to reach the masses,” Edwards told the AJC. “They need to hear: Gangs are not cool, jails are not cool, guns and violence are not cool.”
The Grand Hustle CEO is also required to promote respect for law enforcement under the terms of his plea.
According to New York's Daily News, over the weekend the Grammy nominated rapper's MySpace page posted a message of endorsement aimed directly at her core fan base, pleading for admirers to send nice letters about her in hopes of receiving a reduced sentence.
"Please write letters about how Remy and her music has positively affected you, influenced you, inspired you, etc... in hopes that the judge will be lenient in Remy's upcoming sentencing," the note read.
On Thursday March 27, a Manhattan jury convicted Remy (born Reminisce Smith) of first-degree assault and weapons charges for shooting her former friend in the abdomen last July in a beef over the rapper missing $3,000.
Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Rena Uviller is set to hand the embattled rapper a sentence on April 23. Uviller denied Remy's attorney, Ivan Fisher's request for Remy to spend the remaining days, until the sentencing, at home with her son.
Letters are asked to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
