Ross had an explanation for MTV News, saying “The engagement is speculation. I’m married to the money.”
The source of the rumor was gossip publication Hip-Hop Weekly, which alleged that the two rappers were planning to get hitched, after photos of the two surfaced online. It should be noted that neither rapper has confirmed or denied the relationship.
Currently, Foxy is working on her upcoming album Black Roses, while Ross' Trilla was released this year.

In a recent interview, MTV UK was told by Snoop Dogg that is complete, and it's coming, and it's incredible.
"That record is real, it's coming," confirmed Snoop. "You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me, it knocked my head off."
Right now, the Long Beach rapper says, Dre is just selecting tracks for the long-awaited album.
"I see what he got them waiting for, it's on and poppin," Snoop Dogg said. "He got records, he got heat."
Also during Snoop's visit to Dre's studio, he got some other good news. He and Dre talked it out, and Dre will be sitting in the driver's seat to help produce Snoop's next solo album.
Jay-Z is looking to expand his range of investments into the baseball world. He wants to own shares in the New York Yankees.
The rap superstar already heads up an empire that includes the Roc-A-Fella Records music label, Rocawear clothing and Armadale vodka, in addition to being a shareholder in the New Jersey Nets basketball team.
He has previously been linked to a deal with London soccer team Arsenal Football Club, and while Jay-Z admits the rumors were true, negotiations fell through in 2005.
And now the star has a new sporting interest, he's in the midst of talks to buy shares in the Yankees.
He tells London's Time Out magazine, “I had invested in the Nets, and they (Arsenal bosses) asked me if I was interested in investing. But I get that from time to time”.
“Someone told me yesterday that someone else had a piece of the New York Yankees, 'We wanna talk to you, yadda yadda yadda.' I mean, I love the Yankees so I'm in the middle of following that through, but sometimes it comes to be nothing.”
“That (Arsenal) was one of the times it came to nothing.”

Longtime critically acclaimed west coast rapper, Ras Kass, may be incarcerated for a probation violation since last year, but he's got new music coming.
Set for August, Babygrande Records has announced that they will release the second volume of Ras' Institutionalized album series.
No further details were released about the new album, but the label says it will be "a testament to both Ras' resilience and the raw skill that underlies his longevity within the ever-changing hip-hop landscape."
Ras Kass has faced adversity throughout his career, especially deal with major labels. His last official album was 1998's Rasassination. Since that album, he was scheduled to release an album in 2001 (Van Gogh) and in 2002 (Goldyn Chyld), but to date, both of those albums were shelved, due to widespread bootlegging.
However, he's released several mixtapes to keep the streets fed, and has managed to keep his name fresh within hip-hop.
Institutionalized Vol. II is slated for release August 5th.

However, it was UGK who took home the most awards on the night with two -- one for Best Group and the other for video of the year for their single "International Player's Anthem."
"It's hard to do this with my brother not being here," Bun B said while accepting the Best Group win, joined onstage with Pimp C's wife. "We want to thank y'all for supporting UGK all these years. It's still UGK for life... Long live Pimp C."
Other top awards included Male R&B artist taken by Chris Brown; Female R&B artist won by Alicia Keys; Male hip-hop artist was taken home by Kanye West; while Missy Elliott took home honors for Female hip-hop artist.
But, the choice by the fans for the Viewer's choice went to Lil Wayne for his single "Lollipop."
It was T-Pain though, who won a trophy for his collaboration with Kanye West on "Good Life," that stole the show when he turned the ceremony into a circus.
"This industry is my circus," he said during his performance. "Ride with the ringleader."
Wearing a silver and black top hat, T-Pain -- who was nominated for a leading five BET Awards -- shared the stage with fellow nominees Flo Rida, Rick Ross, Ludacris and Big Boi, along with several people including fire eaters and acrobats, for his elaborate stage show.
T-Pain performed alongside Flo Rida for his hit "Low"; alongside a bare-chested Rick Ross for "Boss"; and everyone joined in for the collaborative "I'm So Hood."
The Viewers Choice winner Lil Wayne also delivered the night's most anticipated performance, and he didn't disappoint. With the help of T-Pain, who wore a t-shirt that read "T-Wayne" (the possible name for the supergroup they recently talked about), Lil Wayne delivered a medley of hits including "A Milli" and "Lollipop."
During Kanye's acceptance speech for Best Collaboration, he took it upon himself to congratulate Lil Wayne for his recent feat of selling a million records during the first week of his release of Tha Carter III.

Makeda Barnes-Joseph, the woman who shot in the abdomen by Remy Ma outside a Manhattan nightspot last year, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against the rapper.
As reported earlier, Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years behind bars in May for the shooting which occurred outside The Pizza Bar in Manhattan in 2007.
The two women were arguing over money that Remy claimed was taken from her purse by Barnes-Joseph.
According to TMZ, Barnes-Joseph's lawsuit also targets The Pizza Bar and Remy’s record labels, Universal Music Group and Sure Shot Recordings.
Joseph claims that that the record labels encouraged and promoted Remy’s violent behavior which subsequently lead to the shooting.
Joseph also claims that The Pizza Bar also contributed to her shooting by continuing to supply Remy Ma with alcoholic beverages even though she was "visibly intoxicated".
New York based jeweler Jacob Arabov, well known in the hip hop community as Jacob The Jeweler, was sentenced to 30 months in prison today (June 24) for lying to federal agents.

According to reports, Akon's 20-year-old artist, Dolla, got into a minor scuffle with Florida rapper 2 Pistols, which resulted in 2 Pistols -- who has been enjoying success with his hit single "She Got It" featuring T-Pain -- being knocked out.
Dolla's camp confirmed that an altercation took place after he heard about recent public statements made by 2 Pistols claiming Dolla had "no street credibility and isn't really a rap artist from the streets."
These words stuck with Dolla. When he ran into 2 Pistols during Monday's media event, Dolla claims he confronted the rapper, which escalated into a scuffle, resulting in 2 Pistols being knocked out by "a single jab," his camp claims.
2 Pistols tells a very different story. He claims the argument was over his hit single, "She Got It" featuring T-Pain, which Dolla allegedly felt was supposed to go to him first. The Florida rapper claims the argument ended, he walked away, and then was sucker-punched. When he tried to strike back (grabbing a chair in the process), he says cops grabbed him, and Dolla and his entourage fled in the vehicles.
The "She Got It" rapper says he's got a cut on his lip, but is fine.
Dolla's camp says a YouTube video of the incident will be upped to the internet Tuesday (June 24).
The Miami Herald says police arrested DMX today (June 23).
DMX was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday afternoon. His bond is set at $500.
The rapper currently faces a slew of charges surrounding various legal issues in 2008.
