Jay-Z will be serving as a producer for the upcoming Broadway play based on Nigerian musician and political activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
According to Variety, the production team for the play also includes Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. This will be the first foray into Broadway for the rapper and the Smiths.
The play is slated to begin its run on November 23.
