Bouncers at Jay-Z 's 40/40 nightclub in New Jersey are facing charges for beating up two men outside the venue this past weekend.
According to The Associated Press, the assault of the two men by the bouncers was captured on video by a disc jockey who had finished performing at the club on Saturday (November 28).
The video shows Leonard Clark, 25, being kicked by two bouncers while lying on the ground and also shows as many as six bouncers swarming and punching Tyrell Durant, 26.
Durant told The Associated Press that the altercation began when a bouncer asked Clark to move from the bar and Clark refused.
Durant claims Clark was at the bar waiting for food he had ordered and the bouncer who asked Clark to move had just tossed another person out of the club.
"We came down to Atlantic City to have a good time, not to have the crap beat out of us," Durant said. "We did not do anything to deserve this."
Durant claims that he was sprayed in the face by a fire extinguisher. He also claims that the bouncers stole some of his money and watch.
Durant and Clark wer e charged with disordely conduct. Durantclaims they did nothing wrong but the club's manager claim Durant punched a security guard in the face.
Police are in the process of identifying the bouncers to press charges. Jay-Z was not at the club at the time of the assault.
