After a little bit of a hiatus, musically, the "People's Champ" Paul Wall is finally gearing up for the release of his third album, Fast Life, which is due in May.

The forthcoming album features production from the likes of beatmakers like Travis Barker and Amadeus, while guests include Baby Bash, Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe, Too Short, and his Expensive Taste group.

In addition to getting "bizzy" with fun party records and tales of life in the fast lane, the Houston grill man brings a little in-depth material as well. Album highlights include "Look At Me," where Paul delves deep into his rocky rise to the top, and "Daddy Wasn't Home" where he details his absentee father's drug addiction and his family's hardships.

While some may be wondering what Paul has been doing since 2007's Get Money, Stay True, he's been at work, like always. In addition to a long trek on the road with Tech N9ne for their Fire & Ice Tour, the rapper has also been promoting his (and Travis Barker's) Expensive Taste clothing line, most recently at the 2009 fashion trade Magic in Las Vegas.

He's also recently relocated his Houston jewelry store to the upscale Galleria mall in Houston), while he continues his work with the USO, training with his major league baseball friends, and being a husband and father.

Right now, he's putting the finishing touches on the video for "Bizzy Body," one of the first tracks off Fast Life which he shot recently in Houston with Trill Entertainment's Webbie.

Fast Life is due in stores May 12.

Flesh-N-Bone, a member of the Cleveland-acclaimed rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,was arrested Thursday evening in Canyon County, California following a routine traffic infraction.

According to Santa Clara’s The Signal, Flesh, real name Stantley Howse, had his vehicle searched during the stop, where a firearm and marijuana were reportedly found inside his car.

Charged with gun possession, this is not the first time Flesh has run into legal trouble. In 2000, he was sentenced to twelve years in prison after assaulting a person with an AK-47 assault rifle. For that case, Flesh ended up serving nearly eight years, when he was released in July of 2008.

Because of his prior history, Flesh is being held without bail at the local county jail, where he will appear in Santa Clara Superior Court on Monday, April 6th to answer the gun charge.

On Monday morning, reps from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony confirmed the story to be true through Sony Red Records, one of the group's labels. The statement said, "At this time, all the facts have not been revealed publicly, however I can assure you 100% that Mr. Howse has not walked backwards! We live in a great American country where one is innocent until proven guilty."

Flesh-N-Bone will go to his hearing later today.

Foxx has returned to Los Angeles after wrapping up filming in Philadelphia this week on the movie "Law Abiding Citizen."

The economy and the rise of the internet have slayed another print media outlet as King magazine announced their final issue will hit newsstand on April 21.

King has been going strong for six years and 50 issues but event its unique content could not hold the magazine afloat with all the financial pressure that led to numerous entertainment mags, including Blender last week, suffer.

An unidentified staff member at the magazine explained to Rap Radar that he saw the demise of the mag as imminent.

"I can only imagine how busy Twitter is right now over this. I thought we had at least one more issue in us, but in general, I saw it. It definitely sucks, but what can we do, you know?"

King, which is published by Harris Publications, will feature Joe Budden’s wife Tahiry in their last issue; the last in a long list of women such as Trina and Melyssa Ford.

Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against a film company that filmed a documentary about him for not giving him final approval over the film.

According to the lawsuit, the 26-year-old artist allowed Digerati Holdings and QD3 Entertainment to shoot a docu-film about him. The movie company, in turn, promised to give him approval over the final cut.

In early December last year, the companies screened the film for Lil Wayne's manager, who advised them to remove objectionable content from the film. They sent another clip in January to the manager for review and approval. The manager once more demanded that all objectionable content be removed.

However, instead of doing so, they allegedly presented a "scandalous portrayal" of the rapper at Sundance without his approval.

Weezy is suing for breach of contract, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, unfair business practices, fraud, and invasion of privacy among others.

Keith Murray and Canibus are currently putting work on an untitled collabo album produced by Eric Sermon.

The lyricists who have been touring together, have finished two tracks and are doing it because "they want to capture the underground audience."

"It's only for heads," Eric Sermon tells MTV. "I don't think there's gonna be one radio record on there, just rhymes and concepts."

"What happened was, I think Keith Murray and Canibus were doing shows [and came up with the idea]," Sermon explained.

"They've been doing shows for the last six months back and forth. I guess somebody stepped to them about putting something together. They called me to do the album. I think they're two songs deep so far, but it's kinda ill to hear them. Keith Murray is out-there, lyrically, and now Canibus is a step way further out-there than he is. It's a dope mixture."

Canibus is also working on two other collabo albums with Kool G Rap and The Sharpshooters (respectively). He is also set to release Rip The Jacker II: Infinity and The 'C' Of Tranquility some time this year.

Hip Hop fans around the world were shocked when they heard that Lil Wayne's next album, Rebirth, would be a rock album.

Skeptics can rest assured now, however, as Bryan "Baby" Williams, Cash Money Records co-CEO and mentor to Wayne, has told VIBE magazine that those reports were not accurate - at least not entirely.

“It’s not a rock record,” said the Birdman in an interview. “That’s what I think people are getting misunderstood. When you speaking about a rock record, you think he’s got a guitar and everything, but it’s not that. It’s going to be some of those types of beats, but it’s just great music. I don’t think no artist can do what he about to get done. My son is a rock star.”

“He can rap, he can sing, he’s just an artist,” he continued. “I don’t think no one will ever be greater [than Wayne] because I don’t think no one puts in the time or the quality. If someone do come along, can you imagine what he’ll have to do? He got to put out on thousand mixtapes, do a thousand records [and] sell 100 million records. 2Pac, Jay-Z and Biggie didn’t get to the shit Wayne’s done.”

Rebirth, thought to have been possibly shelved at one point, is now set to hit stores on June 16.
