Big Boi Promises 3 New Albums From OutKast In The Next Two Years

Big Boi, one half of the duo OutKast, recently spoke on his upcoming solo album Sir Lucious Leftfoot Son of Chico Dusty and another OutKast LP in the future.

"The [solo] album is 16 cuts, everything brand new," he explained in an interview. "Featured on the record I have T.I., Too Short, George Clinton, Andre 3000 of course, Raekwon, Mary J. Blige, it's really, I use my features on the album as an extra ingredient as to different songs...We definitely planning another OutKast album."

He also chopped it up about the outline for the way him and 3 Stacks plan on dropping 3 LP's in two years.

"The plan right now is for me to drop my solo record, Dre is working on his solo album right now...After we put both solos out, we gonna put the OutKast album out. Soon as I turn my record in, I'll go and start doing my parts of the OutKast album as Dre is finishing his album out. Y'all gonna get three records from me and Dre in the next two years."

The release date for Sir Lucious Leftfoot Son of Chico Dusty, which was originally scheduled for release last year, for has been hindered due to serveral push-backs that Big Boi has blamed on Jive Records.

As of press time, Sir Lucious Leftfoot Son of Chico Dusty is slated to drop sometime this summer.

Missy Elliot Prepares Tell-All Movie

Missy Misdemenour Elliot has a biopic movie coming out to talk about her rise to success and her troubled past.

The movie will touch on the early years when Missy, government name Melissa Arnette, was repeatedly sexually abused by her older cousin from the age of eight and also dealing with an abusive father. Missy refused to stay at any of her friend's house because she said she would return home to and find her mother dead.

Her rise to worldwide superstardom in the 90's puts Missy in a class of her own, being the only female rapper to have six platinum records, including the double platinum album, "Under Construction".

She recently talked to Elle Magazine about the project.

"It's happening; I've just got to find a great writer because I wouldn't want my story watered down. I went through a lot, and I accomplished a lot, and I want people to know how it all went down."

Tru Life Turns Himself In For Ties To Murder

Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam artist Tru Life has turned himself into authorities.

Last night, the Lower East Side artist went to police after being sought for questioning on murder charges.

The murder, which happened last week, left an 18 year-old dead, and another man wounded. Initial reports put Tru Life's brother in connection with the stabbing-murder. The incident was believed to be a retaliation for a non-fatal shooting of Tru Life associate Michael Slater. The stabbings were reported to the face and chest of the victims - Michael Black, and the un-named deceased.

Tru Life, a protege of Jay-Z, is most known for his musical and physical feud with The Diplomats, most notably Cam'ron and Jim Jones, which began over disputes of Blood gang affiliation.

At press time it was unclear if he is still signed as an artist under Jay-z's Roc-a-Fella, or RocNation.

Ludacris Launching His Own Brand of Cognac

Ludacris announced that he would be launching his own cognac this week, after creating a buzz at Vinexpo, the wine and spirits trade show in Bordeaux also held this week.

According to reports, Luda will be working with Birkedal Hartmann, a Norwegian-owned cognac producer for a brand called Conjure, set to debut in Norway in July and in the US in September.

"I went to Cognac and blended it myself from 14 different samples," Luda explained.

He understands that any celebrity can endorse a product for a paycheck, but never know nothing about it. Luda doesn't do that, which is why he's adamant that this is not a product endorsement.

"It's not just me attaching my name to it," he explained. "Whenever I involve myself in a business, I submerge myself in it.

"I wanted to learn as much as possible," Luda continued. "It was great. It gave me a new appreciation for cognac."

Birkedal Hartmann's master blender, Philippe Braastad Tiffon, and Luda reportedly used more than 40 different brandies to create a product that reflects the taste and personality of the rapper.

After it's creation, and eventual release, he hopes he reaches one million cases sold. At $34.99 a bottle, that's a lot of dough.

Fan Stabbed During GZA Concert

A 25 year-old man is in stable condition after being stabbed following GZA’s performance at Toronto’s North By Northeast Festival.

According to initial reports, the victim got into an altercation with a suspect whom allegedly threw an item at his girlfriend.

After chasing the suspect through the crowd of over 2,000 people, the man was apparently stabbed in the lower back, and underwent emergency surgery at nearby St. Michael’s Hospital.

Descriptions of the suspect are vague, stating only that he is an Asian man in his 20s, who wore a blue baseball cap and jeans.

The rest of GZA’s set was completed without incident.

The premier lyricist’s latest album, Pro Tools, was released last year to critical acclaim.

It featured production from Black Milk and RZA, and the 50 Cent diss “Paper Plate.”

At press time, police could not verify if any witnesses to the stabbing.

Scott Storch Inks Deal For His Own Reality Show

Superproducer Scott Storch has recently signed a deal to star in his own reality series.

He has entered into a deal with GenX and Bunin/Murray for a show that, according to a press release, will give an "introspective look into the life" of Storch, documenting his process of making hit records, as well as working with up-and-comers in his home of Miami.

"This is a monumental moment to see a producer of his caliber let the cameras into his world and see how hit records are made," said David Weintraub, one of the show's executive producers. "A lot of people have tried to get Scott to open up the curtain to this process, but have never been successful."

"The opportunity to collaborate with such a reputable production company marks the beginning for GenX to establish itself in the reality television industry. This venture will provide a platform for Scott to show the audience the process of developing great talent," added GenX's President Derek Jackson.

At press time, further details regarding the show were unknown, including what network it would premiere on and its title.

Bunim/Murray Productions is credited with single handedly creating the reality show genre of television. They are responsible for hit shows like "The Real World," the longest running reality series in TV history, and "Road Rules," as well as "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and has recently taken over production on "Project Runway."

Foxy Brown Got Star Treatment During Riker’s Island Stint

If you remember in late 2007, Foxy Brown was jailed on an assault charge, stemming from an incident in 2004 when she allegedly attacked two nail-salon manicurists.

Upon her release in mid-2008, her manager released a statement claiming she "did [her time] under the worst conditions that you can do [time] under, at Riker’s Island."

It turns out, that statement wasn't entirely true.

A report by the NY Post this weekend said Brown actually got the star treatment while incarcerated, being allowed to rock Gucci sneakers and a Fendi scarf, as well as other benefits.

Not only was Brown allowed to do an interview and photoshoot for XXL magazine, but the paper went as far as to insinuate that prison officials acted as if they were a part of her entourage, catering to her every need.

"City prison officials acted like an entourage of fawning valets for rapper Foxy Brown when she was locked up on Rikers Island, hanging out in her cell, bringing meals and makeup, giving her unlimited TV and phone use, and toting her bags when she was released last April," the paper's report read.

The Post alleges that the prison's top rabbi Leib Glanz, his boss Imam Umar Abdul-Jalil, played a key role in Brown's star treatment, going to bat for her when she wanted something special.

"Umar would call the warden, and the warden at the time would comply," one insider said.

"They were in her cell day and night," a department supervisor added. "Whatever she wanted, Sister Aisha would talk to warden [Michelle] Mack and get it."

Since the report, the New York Department of Corrections, released a statement, claiming Foxy's treatment was "within normal guidelines."

"Inmates were entitled to wear their own clothing. That's her choice," Correction spokesman Stephen Morello said.

Kelis Wants Nas To Pay $20,000 A Month In Child Support

In a new court filing, Kelis detailed her support request, saying Nas should pay for thousands of dollars in baby supplies, as well as cover her monthly expenses.

According to TMZ, Kelis claims to spend $14,861 on her home mortgage, has nanny costs of $3,500 a month, and spends $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts and vacations.

She wants Nas to pay $20,000 a month in child support to cover her costs -- consisting of a baby nurse, a nanny, and other staff, as well as strollers, cribs and other baby supplies for homes in Los Angeles and New York.

From 11/08 to 4/09, Kelis says she averaged a monthly income of around $21,616. However, her monthly expenses are around $80,831 a month, exceeding her individual income, and she needs Nas to cover them.

Kelis -- who is due to give birth in July to their first child together -- also hasn't been able to tour in nearly a year, which is where most of her income comes from.

The couple was married in July 2003, and Kelis filed for divorce in May.
