The public truce between Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane appears to be compromised following a violent altercation between their affiliates in downtown Atlanta yesterday (March 4).
The brawl began around 4PM outside of the Walter’s Clothing Store in downtown Atlanta, ironically the location where Jeezy and Gucci Mane first met several years ago.
According to Patrick Morrison, an eyewitness and Walter’s Clothing employee, the animosity was renewed when Waka Flocka’s entourage entered the store and came face to face with Slick Pulla and other Young Jeezy affiliates.
“They just started going at it,” Morrison told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
In the midst of the struggle, a security guard for Waka Flocka discharged his firearm, possibly as a warning to dispel the fighting.
Numerous sources allege that Flocka was attacked by Slick Pulla, an artist signed to Young Jeezy’s Corporate Thugz Entertainment label, and member of the group USDA (United Dope Boyz of America).
“Story has it that Waka Flocka and Slick Pulla have been beefing since an alte rcation that happened in Miami a few months ago,” explained celebrity photographer Freddy O. “Slick Pulla wanted to get it popping and that’s what he tried to do. After a tussle and fight throughout the entire Walter’s store, with customers, gunfire rang out. In the end, Slick Pulla left the store while Waka was left with a bloody nose and eye.”
Patrick Morrison confirmed the assault as well, stating “whoever he (Waka Flocka) is he’s got a big swollen eye now.”
Slick Pulla was just released earlier this year from prison after serving a 2 year bid for parole violation. The terms of his release allowed him to leave the location on work release, which may now be violated if criminal charges are levied.
Thursday’s brawl marks the second Atlanta attack in three months on Waka Flocka Flame. In January, the young rapper was shot in the arm at a car wash on Old National Highway after refusing to give up his jewelry.
Flocka took his Twitter several hours ago, and offered a different version of earlier reports that he was left battered and bloody.
In his response, the Atlanta rapper made light of the conflict and boasted that he administered his own beating to his attacker.
"Shout out to shawty who ran up wit the lumps on his face that look like Martin Lawrence ...... lol," quipped Flocka, alluding to a memorable episode of the comedian's sitcom where Lawrence was humorously disfigured after a bout with boxer Tommy Hearns.
At press time, neither camps have released official statements.

It was previously reported that DMX was scheduled to perform at a church fundraiser this upcoming weekend. But, the event has been canceled.
According to TMZ, Arizona's Independence High School -- who were to host the performance -- backed out, after they realized X was involved.
Morning Star Sanctified Church's Pastor King tells TMZ that they had everything set to go, even taking out a $1 million insurance policy, but the school just didn't want to move foward after finding out who the performer was.
Independence High School has already agreed to refund the church's $500 deposit, and now the church will have to refund money to fans who already purchased tickets.
However, King says they plan to reschedule the concert.
This time, it will take place at the Morning Star Church instead. However, it's much smaller.
Victims of a 2006 Florida nightclub shooting are suing the rapper Plies claiming he has increased his credibility in the violent gangsta rap world and made money because of their suffering.
The five victims had non-life threatening gunshot wounds after a fight broke out between the entourage of rapper Plies and another rapper at the club in Gainesville.
An amended lawsuit filed Wednesday in Alachua County Circuit Court adds the rapper's brother and his record label, Big Gates Records, to an existing civil suit against Plies, whose real name is Algernod Lanier Washington. The lawsuit was originally filed in April 2008.
Plies pleaded no contest to illegal possession of a concealed weapon found after the shootings and served no prison time. His brother, Ronell Levatte, served three years in prison after pleading no contest to weapons charges.
The plaintiffs' lawyers say the rapper makes references to the shooting in his lyrics and has generally used it to promote his street cred.
"The irony is that when you criminally prosecute (gangsta rappers) their stock goes up," said Chad Roberts, a Jacksonville-based attorney representing the shooting victims. "It's hard to punish them. The only way to punish is them is to hold the record company accountable."
Robert Rush , Washington's Gainesville-based attorney, called the suit "baseless propaganda." He said his client didn't have a gun in the club and that it's not clear who fired the shots that harmed the plaintiffs.
He also accused the plaintiff's attorneys of trying to grab publicity by amending a lawsuit that had been stagnant for months in a county court.
"This is defamation of character and it is all false. If his music wasn't any good, he wouldn't have gotten anywhere. This happened four years ago, his record sales are not doing great because of this," Rush said.

Lil Wayne has been given a third sentencing date for a 2007 gun charge, after a fire in a New York courthouse postponed the sentencing yesterday (March 2).
Weezy was scheduled to be sentenced to a one-year prison term for attempted possession of a weapon, after he pleaded guilty to the gun charge in October.
Judge Charles H. Solomon was supposed to sentence the rapper to prison on February 9th, but he postponed the sentencing so Lil Wayne could have dental work done.
Judge Solomon rescheduled the date for March 2, but a fire broke out in the basement of the courthouse yesterday.
Over 1,000 people were forced to evacuate the building, which was shut down for the day after eight people, including five firefighters were treated for injuries.
According to TMZ.com, Lil Wayne will be sentenced to prison on Monday (March 8).

Nude photos leaked of Trina over the weekend. Now, she has finally addressed the leak, saying she's taken the privacy invasion to the FBI.
Trina previously revealed that she had lost her cellphone recently and was afraid that the images stored on it might make their way to the Internet. And, they did.
Several photos of Trina were leaked to various blogs just days ago, some of which show her crying, others showing an allergic skin reaction, and some display her exposed body parts.
The websites we first spotted them on have since removed the pics.
She told MTV News Monday (March 1) that the person who found the photos tried to extort her for money.
"[The images are] me on a very upset day -- I think I was in Canada, upset crying," she told the network. "Just personal stuff. Photos in the studio. I think [one] was me having an allergic reaction, breaking out. I just think it was my personal stuff and for someone to do that is so, so wrong. So now I'm actually having it looked into by the FBI and it's gonna be a bigger situation than just leaked photos. Hopefully we can deal with the situation and put an end to it."
Trina went on to explain that while some of the racy images she took herself, some were placed in there just to draw more attention to the set.
As far as the pics of the rash on her arm, Trina said the took them to show her doctor. But, she doesn't sure what caused the allergic reaction.
"I don't recall being allergic to anything, but obviously, yeah [I am]," she said. "I was in the studio recording for a couple of days and just started having breakouts. And my doctor said you're allergic to shellfish or makeup bronzer."
Her doctor diagnosed her with Urticaria, which she says has since gone away.
DMX has spoken about delivering the word of God several times in the past, as a pastor, but has never been able to fufill that promise.
X is planning a "gospel rap extravaganza" (a flier read) for his church on Saturday (March 6) at a local high school in Glendale, Arizona, for a good cause.
According to TMZ, the performance will take place at Independence High School, as a part of a fundraiser for his Morning Star Sanctified Church.
"This is an opportunity for me to use my gifts to benefit a good cause. My music offers hope! God has been good to me," X told the site.
The rapper and his family have been attending the church's services for eight months now, the pastor said, adding that he wants to raise money for repairs.
Advance tickets for the event are currently on sale for $35. Otherwise, it's $40 at the door.

A woman claiming to be the wife of Sean "Diddy" Combs has been arrested after making two visits to a Long Island house she erroneously believed was the home of the hip-hop superstar.
Cemelia Green has pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief and trespassing and has been freed on $5,000 bail. She is represented by Legal Aid. The organization does not comment on pending cases.
Police say the Jacksonville, Fla., woman appeared at a home in East Hampton on Feb. 12, claiming to be Combs' wife. A maintenance worker called police, but she fled.
On Feb. 22, she asked directions to Combs' home at the East Hampton police station, but was refused. Shortly after, police arrested Green at the house where she was seen Feb. 12.
Combs is not married. His spokeswoman did not immediately comment.

Soulja Boy Tell'em has vowed to prove himself as an MC on his next album, The DeAndre Way.
For the effort, the rapper has already said he wants Jay-Z and Eminem onboard. So far, he's been in the studio with Kanye West, and Soulja said 'Ye was impressed with his upgraded material.
"When I was in the studio, I played him a couple of joints, and then he just said, 'Damn, he's really starting to go hard,' " Soulja Boy told MTV News on the red carpet of BET's Rip the Runway. "And I was like, 'Yeah, you feel me?' ... Out of all the artists to get the go-ahead or the co-sign from, it was Kanye."
Soulja Boy and West have been collaborating on material for 'Ye's next album. West requested the teen sensation to help produce tracks for him.
Soulja Boy spoke to MTV News late last year, after he created three tracks "back-to-back-to-back" for West, and said the sessions were beneficial to both musicians.
"Me working with him, collaborating on different beats," he said of working with West. "Him showing me a lot of stuff I didn't know. Me showing him a lot of stuff he didn't know. He had an ear for my sound. Of course I had an e ar for all the stuff he did. Genius! You know what I mean?"
Jim Jones is breathing a sigh of relief after a battery charge against him was dropped.
The Harlem star pleaded not guilty to the allegation in April 2009, relating to a March 2009 incident with a teenage fan in Florida.
The hip-hop star faced one count of misdemeanour battery after Damion Johns accused Jones of punching him in the face at the MTV Spring Break concert.
But Jones has been cleared after prosecutors decided evidence against rapper was insufficient - the Florida's State Attorney's Office withdrew the charge on February 26th.
It's not the first time Jones has been accused of involvement in a violent incident - he pleaded guilty in October 2009 to a misdemeanour assault charge, stemming from a brawl with members of Ne-Yo's entourage, in order to avoid prolonged probation.
He was instead sentenced to time served, which he completed shortly after the arrest in New York in January 2009.

Similar to the New Jersey Nets, Nas is on a tremendous losing streak.
As previously reported, Nas was ordered to pay ex-wife Kelis $200k in child support.
Now according to court documents, Nas owes $3,365,671.26 to the IRS, an increase from the $2,584,206.31 lien that the IRS filed against him in 2009.
On top of the troubles with the IRS, TMZ reports that Nas has been trying to reconcile with Kelis once again. It has been reported that he has been sending Kelis a flood of emails, telling her how much he wants her back and where she can come to meet him, so they can rekindle the relationship, although it has been reported that Kelis is already in a new relationship and totally moved on from Nas.

One of 50 Cent’s employees has been accused of setting his Long Island, NY home on fire.
The Republican American reports that Connecticut resident Shana Chin testified in court Thursday (Feb. 25) against Dwayne McKenzie, an associate of 50, claiming he assaulted her while visiting him at 50’s Long Island mansion.
In her testimony, however, she then revealed that McKenzie often talked about setting the home 50’s ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins lived in, on fire, shortly after Chin claims she was assaulted. 50 Cent was not specifically named in the case.
In May 2008, 50 Cent’s $1.4 million estate was mysteriously set on fire, sending both his ex-girlfriend and their son, Marquise, to the hospital. At the time of the fire, 50 was in the midst of a court battle to evict Tompkins from the house.
