Gucci Mane To Be Released From Jail Next Week

Monday (May 3) Hot 97 dj Angie Martinez announced that Gucci Mane is expected to be released from Fulton County Jail next Wednesday, May 12.

As previously reported, Gucci was sent to prison last November for violating the terms of his probation. It was then widely believed that he would only serve six months of his year-long sentence.

In Other Gucci news it was reveled that he would be dropping So Icey Ent. for his own 1017 Brick Squad Records.

Eminem Named SoundScans 'Aritst of The Decade'

In December, Nielsen SoundScan named Eminem the "Artist of the Decade" for selling more than 32 million albums over his career.

Em recently headed down to their offices to put up his award.

Eminem posed holding the award with Dr. Dre, Interscope head Jimmy Iovine, his manager Paul Rosenberg and Nielsen heads, Eric Weinberg and Chris Muratore.

Eminem will have a chance to add to his all-time sales number in June when he releases his new album, Recovery, on 22nd.

Nas Says He Can't Afford Payments To Kelis

Almost a month after being ordered rapper to pay ex-wife Kelis for back child and spousal support, he is now asking the judge to take another look because he can't afford his monthly payments to her.

As previously reported, Nas was ordered to immediately pay Kelis over $87,000 in back spousal and child support, in addition to legal fees and make a $10,000 a month payment.

However in new court paperwork obtained by TMZ, Nasir is said to make around $152,000+ a month, but says it's "substantially less than that amount."

Nas' lawyer is asking the judge to take a look at his financial records to re-consider his monthly payment.

Diddy Visits Lil Wayne In Jail

Lil Wayne got a surprise last Wednesday (April 28), when Diddy headed over to the Riker's Island prison facility to pay him a visit.

According to the New York Daily News, Sean John traveled to the Eric M. Taylor correctional facility on Riker's by the prison's public bus shuttle.
