According to AllHipHop, a California court has dismissed the $10 million lawsuit Freeway Ricky had filed back in May. In The lawsuit Freeway Ricky named Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Def Jam, and Universal Music Group as defendants.
"Because this illegal activity cannot be used to establish secondary meaning, such allegations do not provide support for Plaintiff having a valid trademark for his name."
Basically stating that, because "drug dealing" cant be used to determine value, Freeway has no case.
Reports said Freeway Ricky has 30 days to appeal the ruling.

Willie D of The Geto Boys plead guilty on November 2, to wire fraud and received a sentence of one year and a day in prison. The case comes from a scam in which Willie used eBay to defraud customers out of money with a bogus phone company named Texas One Wireless. Customers would wire the company money for iPhones. In return they would get a fake tracking number and never receive the phones.
He will also have to pay $197,087.17 in restitution to the 35 people he conned.
