According to the Detroit News, Xzibit is debt to the IRS for nearly $1 million in back taxes.
Published reports says a lien was filed against the rapper X one of four filed in recent years.
Apparently, his tax problems began in 2009, following the cancellation of long-running MTV show, "Pimp My Ride," where he played host.
X reportedly attempted to file for bankruptcy twice since 2009, but both were dismissed for various reasons.
Xzibit has not commented on the report.

Prodigy of Mobb Deep has landed a deal with Simon and Schuster to release his autobiography.
The book written by Prodigy and Laura Checkoway is titled ‘My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy’.
From his battle with sickle-cell anemia, to his wars in the streets and in the booth, Prodigy’s biography will give readers an in depth look into his life in and out of Hip Hop
P is scheduled to be released from prison in March 2011 after serving three years on gun charges.
‘My Infamous Life: The Autobiography Of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy’ will be available April 19,2011.
