New Music: Ludacris Ft. Slaughterhouse & Claret Jai - F5 (Furiously Dangerous) (Prod. By Mr. Porter)
Lil Wayne's highly anticipated next album, Tha Carter IV, was due in stores next month. However, it has been pushed back to June 21, while weezy adds the finishing touches.
Mack Maine revealed to MTV that Weezy is making minor changes to album in order to polish things up; and is also awaiting on collaborators to turn in their verses. A mixture of both contributed to the album's delay.
Maine, also addressed the rumored Carter IV tracklisting that made its way to the Internet recently. While Maine didn't completely discredit what was leaked, he said there's no way it can be fully accurate, because after all, the album isn't finished.
"I'm pretty sure it can't be all the way accurate, because I don't even have all the features back on some of it, and two [of the] songs haven't been done yet," he said.
However, one thing that leaked, that has been confirmed as "real," is the leaked coverart, which features a Lil Wayne as a kindergartener, in cap and gown. Maine explained that the leak wasn't intentional and happened justy a few hours after the Young Money camp approved the image.
"The same day it leaked out, we had just approved the cover that morning. Soon as we approved it, it leaked out within two hours," the Young Money president said.
